Swivel Sweeper Battery Feature

Swivel Sweeper Battery Feature

Cordless, lightweight and convenient, Swivel Sweeper may be the best home cleaning tool. With four brushes that rotate 360 degrees, one does not have to budge about and bump into any home furniture. Its swiveling abilities let the cleaner get around, behind and under furnishings with ease. It weighs an astonishing two pounds and has an extended handle that allows the user clean without exerting too much effort to the point of feeling awkward.

Crumbs, pet hair, dust and other dry dirt are taken care of by the sweeper even if they are inserted underneath chair or table legs. Hard to reach places, especially those impossible to be contacted by vacuum cleaners, are readily remedied. Aside from the hard working brushes, the tool is equipped by a powerful motor which gets its power from the Sony laptop battery such as Sony PCGA-BP1N battery, Sony PCGA-BP2NX battery, Sony PCGA-BP2NY battery, Sony PCGA-BP2R battery, Sony PCGA-BP2S battery, Sony PCGA-BP2T battery, Sony PCGA-BP2V battery, Sony PCGA-BP4V battery and Sony PCGA-BP71 battery.

The Swivel Sweeper battery is a Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery that gives off 7.2 volts and is rechargeable. It does not have the so-called "memory" and you can charge it any time. When properly charged and correctly maintained, the battery lasts up to 45 minutes. Reading the manual given with every purchase of the equipment and faithfully following them will optimize the battery's strength and maximize the abilities of the sweeper.

Though a user may charge the battery whichever time s/he likes, s/he must always be responsible. When using it for the first time, the instruction says charge it for eight hours—not 24 hours, not four hours, nothing more, nothing less. Succeeding charges will depend on the amount of the battery charge is consumed. The charger has a built-in red light which turns on as it starts to charge. Once the battery has been fully charged—once the red light turns off—the battery must be detached from the charger. A little carelessness can be forgiven; one may forget to unplug it for a few more hours but it must not be left plugged for more than 24 hours. Overcharging shortens the battery life, thus, limits the sweeper's use.

Cleaning the battery is also a requirement. It must remain clean and dust-free. Tangled hair and clumped dusts may hinder the battery from charging properly and, therefore, working accurately. When not in use, the battery must also be removed from the very sweeper to preserve the charge and protect it from any damage the device may experience while not in use.

The battery can last up to 2-3 years when cared for appropriately. It can keep a sweeper swiveling as long as it is a given the capacity to do so. Buying a rechargeable replacement battery may seem costly but it is not. On the contrary, it amplifies the Swivel Sweeper's abilities without risking its battery's life. One may use as many times as s/he wants, as often as s/he likes, through alternating batteries. Without overusing a battery, anyone can sweep until s/he drops. But the same care must also be given to the alternate battery.
